Hutchison: “Cantwell 100% wrong on tax cuts; 100% out of touch with working people”
Statement by Susan Hutchison, GOP candidate for U.S. Senate, Friday October 19:
“More Americans have jobs today than any time in the last 50 years -- Senator Cantwell voted against the tax cuts that made this possible. What's worse, Cantwell wants to return to the failed ideas that left so many in poverty.
“I will vote to protect our economy. Record unemployment -- especially for African Americans and Hispanics -- must be defended. If Cantwell has her way millions of Americans will lose their jobs.
“On national television in November 2017, Senator Cantwell argued against the tax cuts, predicting that they would not lead to economic growth in this video clip.
“The facts are in, and Cantwell was wrong. Senator Cantwell puts the needs of D.C. ahead of the needs of our families. She's a D.C. insider, beholden to the D.C. swamp and Seattle extremists.”
